La Guillemandiere is situated in a small hamlet near to the picturesque village of St. Juire Champgillon. The village has a bar and restaurant serving regional dishes both for lunch and dinner. There is also a hairdressers and small grocery shop, along with a bakery van that visits during the day.
During the summer months there is a market every Sunday morning where you can buy local produce and sample the local wines, aperitifs etc. The children can take a ride around the village in a cart pulled by the village donkey - great fun!
It is an ideal place to ride your cycles or to walk through the quiet lanes and take in the lovely scenery. Pack a picnic and stop off at the lake in St Martin Lars and just let time pass you by.
